Let's say you are driving your car through a forest. Suddenly your car gets spoiled. As soon as you get out of the car, you see a hungry lion running towards you.
At this time your brain register a negative emotion, in this case the emotion is fear. After that you will start running fast without caring about anything. Negative thoughts narrow your mind. That's why it is not good for you.

1. Surround yourself with positive people
Believe it or not, the accompaniment around you has a great effect on you. If you are surrounded by negitive thinkers, sooner or later you will become one of them.
That's why you have to change your accompaniment with positive thinkers. You can learn a lot of things from them and they will definitely help you.
Try to be calm in every situation and try to think positive in worst to worst situation. After some time you will see that now you start becoming a positive thinker.
2. Feed the positivity
You have to keep feeding your positivity. Positivity leads to positive thoughts. Studies shows that meditation, deep breathing and productivity increases the level of positivity.
Try to do meditation and deep breathing in your day to day life. Meditation also helps to increase calm and patience in your life.
3. Help Others
You can not deny that by helping others our peace of mind increases. More peace of mind generate means more positivity in you. So start helping others in your life.
